What's the role about?

As a Sr. Perception Engineer you’ll work on analyzing data and developing algorithms — including machine learning — to improve how an automated system perceives its environment and the objects within it. This involves combining information from multiple sensors, such as cameras, infrared, positional data, system state, and other inputs.

We’re looking for someone with a strong start-up mindset, capable of turning years of research and development into reliable, high-quality solutions deployed at scale.

What do we require from you?

• BS Computer Vision (or similar)
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience; many releases of production quality deployments
• Programming in Python or C++
• Vision inspection pipelines 
• Image processing (filtering, edge detection, morphology)  
• Object detection & classification, Object tracking (Kalman, SORT, DeepSORT)  
• Machine Learning, CNN, PyTorch, Data set creation, labeling, & augmentation, VertexAI, and/or AWS Sagemaker  
• OpenCV, HALCON, Cognex VisionPro knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to learn/adapt quickly
• Advanced English level.
